Accounts
Import accounts you already have on a store into a group, so your tasks can sign in with them.
Create a group#
A group holds accounts that already exist. The password is the storefront password, the one that signs into Walmart, Target or Pokémon Center. It is not your webmail password.
A group is not a list of addresses to generate accounts with. A Gen task takes its addresses from the profiles picked in its Profiles field. It has no account group field. Only Add sms and Enter raffle tasks read an account group.
Open Accounts and create a group
Every picker shows the Group Name. Name it for the batch as well as the retailer, likeCA drop Friday.Pick the retailer
The Retailer dropdown sets a retailer and region for the group. The Account group picker on a task hides groups tagged with a different retailer or region. A Walmart US group never appears on a Walmart CA Add sms task. A group with no retailer set still appears in every picker, with— no retailer setafter its name.Paste the accounts, one per line
Useemail:password. You can separate accounts with commas instead of new lines.
Add to an existing group#
Use Add accounts on an open group to add lines to it. You do not need to paste the whole list again.
Add accounts only adds emails that are not in the group yet. For an email already in the group, it keeps the stored password. If that email has no password stored, the pasted password is added to it.
Saving a group in Create Account Group under a name that already exists also adds to it. It does not replace it. New emails are added, and an email already in the group is not added twice. Pasting your original list again adds no accounts.
This save can change stored passwords. If you paste an email that is already in the group with a different password, the pasted password replaces the stored one. To change a password, save the group again this way. Add accounts does not change it.
The save also sets the group's retailer and region to the one in the Retailer dropdown. Pick the group's own retailer before you save.
Generated accounts are added to a group as they are made, so a group can hold accounts that exist nowhere else. Replacing the group would lose them. To start a fresh group, use a new name.
Group names are turned into a file-safe id, so "Walmart CA" and "Walmart/CA" count as the same name. AETHER refuses the second save and tells you which group already uses that id. Choose a different name.
Manage a group#
- You cannot sign accounts in from the Accounts page. Each task signs into its own account when it runs.
- Export opens a save dialog titled Export account group. Each line is
email;password, always with a semicolon. Riot accounts with a username export asemail;username;password. An email with no stored password is written on its own. This keeps a copy of the logins outside the app. - Right-click or double-click a group card to edit or delete it.
- Edit opens Edit Account Group, where you change the Group Name and Retailer. The retailer choice also sets the region, like Walmart CA.
Import format#
AETHER looks at the first : or ; after the email. That character decides how it reads the rest of the line. Vendor exports come in two shapes that put the password in opposite places, and the separator tells them apart.
| Line | Read as |
|---|---|
me@example.com:Passw0rd | The password is Passw0rd. |
me@example.com:storefront:webmail | The password is storefront. After a colon, the first field is the password. Anything after it is dropped. |
me@example.com;handle;Passw0rd | After a semicolon, the password is the last field. A middle field is read as a username. Some exports use this shape. |
me@example.com | Skipped. An email on its own is not an account. |
Skipped lines are counted and not saved. When the import finishes, the app tells you how many lines it skipped. A group with no passworded accounts shows as (0 — none with a password yet) in the Account group picker of Add sms and Enter raffle tasks. You cannot pick it, and the app refuses to create tasks for it.
drop1@example.com:Passw0rd drop2@example.com:Passw0rd drop3@example.com:Passw0rd
Separator settings
Settings has an Account import separator field. It defaults to : and shows an example beside it that updates as you type.
This field only changes the skipped-lines message, like 3 lines skipped — need email:password. It does not change what the importer accepts. The importer reads only : and ; as described above.
The Export separator field is saved, but group export does not use it. Group export always uses ;.
Modes that use a group#
Two of the three task modes need an account group. Add sms is on Walmart CA and Walmart US. Enter raffle is on Riot.
| Mode | How it uses the group |
|---|---|
| Add sms | Required. It makes one task per account in the group that has a password, and each task attaches a number. It also needs an SMS provider and an OTP inbox, because it logs in with an email code first. Accounts that a previous run gave a number, or that already had one, are skipped. Tick Re-check accounts a previous run already resolved to run them anyway. |
| Enter raffle | Required, along with the drop URL. The accounts in the group are the ones entered into the drop. |
See Task modes for what each mode does with the group while it runs.
Where generated accounts go
You do not need a group to receive a gen run. New accounts are added to a group named after the task group that made them. Each batch gets its own group, so two batches made for different purposes stay apart.
A task with no group name uses a standard name instead, like Walmart CA Genned or Target Genned.
Renaming these groups is a good habit. The standard name is matched by name, so renaming Walmart CA Genned closes off that batch. The next run starts a new group instead of adding to it.
