Target

Set up Target gen tasks, which create US accounts from your profiles.

Target is US only. It has one mode, so the task form shows no mode buttons. The Mode column in the task list reads Gen.

Generate accounts#

Gen works from your profiles. It does not take a list of addresses.

  1. Add an IMAP mailbox

Save a real IMAP mailbox in the IMAP section of Settings. Target reads its code challenge over IMAP, and an AYCD source cannot. See OTP inboxes.
  2. Pick your profile groups

You get one task for each eligible profile. Each account is created on that profile's email. See Profiles.
  3. Pick an OTP source, or leave the default

The OTP source field is optional for Target. Pick an IMAP inbox there and the task reads that inbox. Target never reads an AYCD source. If you leave — default (built-in mailbox) — or pick an AYCD source, the task uses the first IMAP mailbox saved in Settings. Its log then says no mailbox picked for this task.
  4. Pick a proxy list

Choose the list the task uses in Proxy List. See Proxies.

Generated accounts#

New accounts go into an account group named after the task group that made them.

The account group is tagged as a Target group. Its card shows the Target logo, and · Target US after the account count. If an account group with that name already has a retailer tag, new accounts join it and the tag stays as it is.
