Walmart US

Use this module to add a phone number to walmart.ca accounts you already have.

add smsgen

Walmart US does not generate accounts. Its only mode is add-SMS, so the task form shows no mode row and opens on the add-SMS fields. To generate Walmart accounts, use Walmart CA.

You pick the region once, when you create a task group. Click the Walmart tile and it turns over to a Region face with US and CA buttons. US is the default. You cannot change a group's region later, so create a new group for the other region.

The task form creates every add-SMS task as a Walmart CA task, even in a Walmart US group. Each task signs in through the walmart.ca login. Before it signs in, it checks your proxy list against walmart.ca.

Only accounts registered on walmart.ca can get a number. AETHER never signs in on walmart.com. An address with no walmart.ca account ends on NO SUCH ACCOUNT, even if it has a walmart.com account.

Set up an add-SMS task#

The form asks for the fields below. Without an account group or without an OTP inbox, the task is not created.

  • Account group *: an account group of accounts that already exist, imported as email:password. The password is the storefront password. AETHER creates one task for each account that has a password. A group with no passwords is refused.
  • SMS provider *: the SMS provider to rent the number from. With none saved, the picker reads No SMS provider saved — add one under Settings → SMS. The tasks are still created, but each one shows STOPPED as soon as it starts.
  • Number type: the number pool to rent from that provider.
  • OTP inbox *: the OTP inbox that receives the login code.
  • Proxy List: the proxy list the logins use.
  • Re-check accounts a previous run already resolved: leave it off to skip accounts an earlier run already finished.

Without a group, AETHER shows Pick an account group. Without an inbox, it shows Add-SMS logs in with an email OTP — attach an OTP inbox under Settings. When the tasks are made, it shows Created N add-SMS tasks.

An account group is not a list of addresses to generate with. Nothing in this module generates accounts.

Attach an OTP inbox#

Each login finishes with a code sent by email. The password alone is not enough. Without a readable inbox the login fails, and the number is never added. AETHER will not create the task without an inbox.

The OTP inbox * picker lists every IMAP and AYCD inbox you saved. Pick one that receives the mail sent to the accounts in the group. A catch-all domain that forwards into the inbox works.

Walmart sends the code to the account's own address. If that address is on iCloud, Gmail, Outlook or a similar provider, attach an inbox on that provider. Otherwise the code lands where AETHER cannot read it, and the task ends on NO LOGIN CODE.

See OTP inboxes (IMAP) for which inboxes the app accepts and how to attach one to a task.

What happens to each account#

  1. Log in

Each task signs in to its own account and finishes the login with the code from your inbox. The status reads LOGGING IN.
  2. Check for a phone number

It checks whether the account already has a number attached. The status reads CHECKING FOR SMS.
  3. Skip accounts that have one

The task ends on ALREADY SMS VERIFIED. Nothing is rented.
  4. Rent and attach a number

This happens only for accounts that need one. The status moves through NEEDS SMS and ADDING PHONE, then ends on PHONE ADDED.

Tasks you start run at the same time, up to the Walmart limit. Any task over the limit waits as QUEUED until a slot frees.

When you create tasks for a group again, accounts that an earlier run left on PHONE ADDED or ALREADY SMS VERIFIED are left out. Tick Re-check accounts a previous run already resolved to include them. Each one still costs a login.

If every account in the group is already resolved, AETHER refuses with Every account in that group already has SMS — nothing to do (tick Recheck to run them anyway).

A number is rented only after the login is confirmed. A wrong password, a dead proxy or an unreadable inbox costs you nothing, because the task fails before it spends. When a login fails, fix the cause instead of retrying the group.

Read the status lines#

Each task is named after its account, so each status belongs to one account. A task ends on one of these.

StatusWhat it means
PHONE ADDEDA number was rented and attached to the account.
ALREADY SMS VERIFIEDThe account already had a number. Nothing was rented.
NO SUCH ACCOUNTWalmart has no account for this address on walmart.ca. A walmart.com account cannot get a number here.
LOGIN BLOCKED (PX)Walmart's bot wall or a bad proxy stopped the login. Nothing was rented. Add more proxies or use fresh ones.
NO LOGIN CODEThe login code never arrived. Check that the inbox receives mail for this address.
SMS SOLD OUTYour SMS provider has no numbers right now. Retry when stock returns.
SMS OVER PRICE CAPThe provider wanted more than the price cap. Nothing was rented.
SMS BALANCE EMPTYYour SMS provider balance is empty. Top it up.
ADD SMS FAILEDAny other failure, such as a wrong password. The task log says why.
STOPPEDYou stopped the task, its proxy list is unreachable, or its account group, SMS provider or inbox is missing. The task log says why.

For every status, and which ones are terminal, see Task statuses.

To add numbers to accounts you do not have yet, first generate them on a store that offers gen. The Modules overview lists which stores do.
