Riot

Use Riot to generate accounts, or to enter accounts you already have into a drop.

genenter raffle

These are two separate task runs. Gen creates accounts and enters nothing. Raffle enters accounts that already exist.

Riot's signup and drop pages can show a captcha. AETHER solves these with a solver built into the app. You need no solver account and no key.

Generate accounts#

Gen creates one account per email address. Pick profile groups and you get one task per eligible profile, using that profile's address. A task with no address is refused instead of started.

Riot is email-only. The flow has no phone field, and its MFA step does not use SMS. You never need an SMS provider for Riot.

Gen also needs a proxy list with at least one proxy in it. It never runs from your own IP. With an empty or unreadable list, or with Localhost — this PC's IP, no proxy picked, the task fails at once on GEN FAILED. AETHER does not retry it.

Verification codes

Riot always emails a verification code, and AETHER reads it over IMAP only. AYCD is not supported. A Riot task set to AYCD is refused at start with a message that says so.

Attach a real IMAP inbox under Settings and set it on the task. See OTP inboxes (IMAP).

Where the accounts go

Riot signs in by email, but the in-game identity is the username. AETHER records both. When you export a Riot account group, each line reads email;username;password. Other retailers export as email;password.

Finished accounts go to an account group named after the task group, tagged riot. If the task group has no name, the account group is called Riot Genned. The raffle form's group list hides groups tagged for another retailer. Untagged groups still appear, marked — no retailer set.

Enter a drop#

Raffle takes accounts that already exist and enters each one through a drop page. Work in this order.

  1. Run gen well ahead of time

The accounts must exist before the drop opens. Do not leave it until minutes before the entry window closes.
  2. Check that the account group has passwords

Raffle signs in as each account. An address with no password is no use to it.
  3. Create the raffle tasks with the drop URL

You get one task per account, pointed at the page each account enters through.

Rows without a password are skipped, so you can get fewer tasks than the group has accounts. Check the count in the toast against what you expected.

If no account in the group has a password, AETHER refuses to create any tasks. The message tells you to paste the passwords back on the group as email:password, or to pick a group AETHER generated itself.

A raffle task does not run without proxies. This is on purpose. Entering once per account from your own connection would burn the one IP you cannot rotate. See Proxies.

Raffle form fields#

FieldRequiredNotes
Drop URL *YesThe page each account enters through. It must start with http:// or https://, or AETHER refuses the task.
Account group *YesAccounts that already exist, with passwords. A group with none shows (0 — none with a password yet) and cannot be picked.
Product SKUs (optional)NoComma-separated SKU ids to select on drops that show a product picker. Leave it blank if the drop has none.
OTP inbox (optional)YesThe label says optional, and the form accepts — none —. But a raffle with no inbox fails for every account with RAFFLE FAILED. Pick an IMAP or AYCD inbox.

If a captcha appears#

AETHER solves drop captchas with its built-in solver, so there is nothing to set up before a drop. While it works, the pill reads SOLVING DROP CAPTCHA.

If a captcha on the entry form cannot be solved, that account ends on DROP CHALLENGED. One at sign-in that cannot be solved ends on RAFFLE FAILED.

Raffle limits#

  • An entry puts an account into a drop, lottery or priority-access queue. Whether the account is drawn later, and what happens then, is outside AETHER.
  • You run your entries during the entry window, so you choose the timing.
  • It only works on Riot. Riot is the only module in AETHER that can enter accounts into a drop. The mode picker for other storefronts does not list it.
