Modules

Pokémon Center

Set up tasks that generate Pokémon Center accounts on the US store.

Gen

Pokémon Center has one mode, so the task form shows no mode buttons. The Mode column in the task list reads Gen.

Generate accounts#

A Gen task needs three things.

  • Addresses. Under Profiles *, click Select profile groups… and pick one or more groups. Each eligible profile becomes one task and uses that profile's email. If you pick no group, AETHER creates tasks with random addresses on a built-in catch-all domain, one address per task. The number of tasks comes from Task Quantity, which the form shows only when you have no profile groups. See Profiles.
  • A clean residential proxy list meant for Pokémon Center. The module does not run from your own connection. Test the list against Pokémon Center in Proxies before you use it. If your vendor limits the list to another store, the test shows Failed (403).
  • Chrome on this computer. Google Chrome works, and so does the copy of Chrome that AETHER downloads for Riot tasks. On Windows, Microsoft Edge is used if neither is found. The module uses Chrome to get the store's cookies, and it does not download a copy itself. With none of these, every attempt fails and the task log shows PC_CHROME_MISSING.

You do not need an OTP inbox. The signup has no email step, so there is no code to read. The gen form still shows the optional OTP source field. If you pick an inbox there, the task never reads it.

When the store accepts the signup, AETHER also tries to log into the new account. The task then ends as ACCOUNT GENNED. The login result does not change that status and does not appear in the task log. So ACCOUNT GENNED does not prove that the account can log in.

Failed tasks#

The log shows a different result for each kind of failure.

  • A challenge when the task first reaches the store.
  • A dead proxy.
  • The store refusing the signup.
  • An address that already has a Pokémon Center account.

If a task meets a captcha, it does not try to solve it. This applies when the task first reaches the store and when it submits the signup. The email address is not used up, and the task restarts on a fresh proxy with the same address.

An address that already has an account ends the task as ALREADY GENNED. The task does not restart.

For every status a task can show, see Task statuses. For pacing, see Start All & pacing.
