AETHER collects only what is necessary to run your account: your email, a hashed password, and your Discord identity (connecting Discord is part of creating an account). We do not sell or share your data.
What we store
- Email address, and when you verified it
- Password hash (bcrypt, cost 12) — never the plaintext
- Discord id and username
- License keys and their binding state (a one-way hash the app derives from your computer, never the raw hardware id)
Who processes it
Account data is stored with Vercel. Verification and reset emails are sent through Resend. Discord receives your id when our bot adds you to the server and assigns roles.
Cookies
One HTTP-only session cookie (aether_session), plus a short-lived one used only while you connect Discord. No third-party analytics cookies. No advertising trackers.
Deletion
Email privacy@aetheraio.com from the address on your account to request permanent deletion. We answer within 7 days.
